Big Bang! 3 HR for Moody HS's Morales Saturday, April 17th , 2038 Whatever Alfredo Morales ate for breakfast before his game against the DeSoto Central HS Panthers today, it gave him some impressive power. The Moody HS first baseman smacked three balls up and out of the park at Trojans Ballpark. His home run barrage led the Trojans to take the 17-3 victory over the Panthers. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 3-for-4, scored 4 times, drove in 5 and put on a display that history will remember. Alfredo Morales hit a solo-shot off Jacob Tucker in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Freddy Reyes in the 4th, walked in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Jim Etheridge in the 8th. Thus far this year Morales is batting .224 with 11 home runs, 25 RBIs and 17 runs scored. |
