Great Day for McKinley -- 5 Hits Friday, March 25th , 2039 Chatfield HS second baseman Gregg McKinley could do no wrong today, but the Mustangs could. McKinley collected 5 hits against the Brophy Prep Broncos, but he couldn't win the game. Chatfield HS fell, 5-2, in extra innings at Littleton Ballpark. "It's a shame we didn't win," McKinley said later. "It would have been a very special day if that had happened." "In every one of his at-bats, things were in his favor," Broncos manager Matt Thomas said. "We couldn't keep him from getting ahead in the count and once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get better pitches to hit." Gregg McKinley singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, struck out in the 9th, singled in the 11th and struck out in the 13th.
