Season May Be Over for Buccaneers Burton Tuesday, March 29th , 2039 Brent Burton has to call it a season. The Barbe HS Buccaneers reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Benedictine Prep HS Infantrymen and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Burton was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 9-10 months. On the year Burton has no saves in 9 relief appearances with a 1-0 record and 5.50 ERA. |
