Playoff Bound: Yerington HS Secures Wild Card Thursday, April 21st , 2039 As the clock struck midnight in the Yerington HS Skeeters clubhouse, the celebration showed no signs of slowing down. The Skeeters were certainly ready to celebrate their Western League wild card berth. "It's time to let off a little steam after a grind of a season," said reliever Felipe Ibarra. "We may act a bit like teenagers tonight celebrating, but we'll be back to being big leaguers tomorrow." With a 24-22 record, Yerington HS will be seeking its 1st Interscholastic Federation championship. |
