Martínez Awarded April's EL Top Bat Prize Sunday, May 1st , 2039 Not known for his offensive prowess, Fernando Martínez set the league afire in April and took home the Eastern League Batter of the Month award. The Mobile Christian HS second baseman posted a steady .402 batting average, 10 home runs, 20 RBIs and 16 runs. This year Martínez is hitting .318 with 57 hits, 19 home runs, 38 RBIs and has scored 35 runs. |
