Seton Hall Prep Advances to Round 2 Monday, May 2nd , 2039 The championship aspirations of the Seton Hall Prep Pirates are still alive and well, while the Barbe HS Buccaneers are left to wait until next year. Seton Hall Prep won the clinching game of the Round 1 2-1 over Barbe HS at Pirates Ballpark, to win the series 4-2. "You feel like a little kid again, celebrating something like this," said third baseman Jarrod Woodruff, who paced the Seton Hall Prep offense and was named series MVP. "We take everything real seriously when we're on the field, but after a series is over you can finally relax a little bit." Woodruff claimed the MVP by racking up 8 hits for a .400 average, with a .400 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, 5 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Seton Hall Prep Pirates don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Blanchard HS Ligers - James River HS Rapids series.
