Great Week for Lodi HS's Al Cross Monday, March 19th , 2040 Lodi HS Devils shortstop Al Cross walked away with the Western League Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days. "The Devils fans are really behind me right now," said the 17-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better." Cross batted .524 (11-for-21) with 2 home runs and 9 RBIs this week on his way to the award. Thus far this year Cross has hit .295 with 2 home runs and 11 RBIs. |
