Season Possibly Over for Jason Page
Friday, April 6th , 2040
Tumwater HS reliever Jason Page could miss the remainder of the season because of a stretched elbow ligament. He exited yesterday's Bellevue West HS game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Page would be out 10-11 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."
Thus far this season Page has compiled a 3-1 record, made 2 relief appearances with no saves, hurling 28.2 innings and striking out 19. He has held the opposition to a .287 batting average with a 2.20 ERA.
