5-Hit Blitz by James River HS's Willis Wednesday, April 11th , 2040 Dean Willis was unstoppable, but the James River HS Rapids were not. Despite his hitting heroics at Rapids Ballpark today, the Rapids lost 9-7 to the Central HS Wildcats. Willis battered Central HS for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His only consolation will be a boost in his batting average and a brief mention in the record book. Willis just shook his head after the game, telling BNN reporters, "It's the team with the most runs that wins, not the most hits." Dean Willis singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. Willis is hitting .312 in 2040 with 12 RBIs and no home runs.
