Sarasota HS Loses Tucker for Year Saturday, April 14th , 2040 When Martin Tucker was hurt against the Seton Hall Prep Pirates, the Sarasota HS Sailors were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 18-year-old reliever suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Tucker would miss 12-13 months of the season. This season Tucker has been credited with no saves. In 10 relief appearances and 18 innings he has a 2-0 won-lost mark, 9.00 ERA and 16 strikeouts |
