Wild Card Clinched by Bellevue West HS Saturday, April 21st , 2040 It wasn't quick or easy for the Bellevue West HS Surge, but they have clinched a berth in the postseason. While they couldn't capture the Western League Midwest Conference crown, the club has cinched up a wild card berth late in the season. "You come close to not getting a chance in the postseason and it starts to worry you," said shortstop Roberto López. "This is a huge relief for our guys and we're going to celebrate it." The team will be looking for its 1st Interscholastic Federation championship. |
