League Suspends Machado and Yamaguchi for Brawl Monday, July 18th , 2039 Ángel Machado of Akutan Island and Ryuzaburo Yamaguchi of Angoon were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Machado will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Yamaguchi was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. This season Machado is batting .303 with 18 RBIs, 18 runs scored and 6 home runs. In 9 starts this season Yamaguchi has fashioned a 3-2 record and a 2.32 ERA. |
