Douglass Picked HL Player of the Week Monday, July 25th , 2039 The Hawaiian League made it official today: Dermott Douglass is the Player of the Week. He really sparkled on the diamond this week with a .562 average to take home the trophy. The Kilauea second baseman went 9-for-16, drove in 12 runs, scored 8 times and hit 6 home runs. So far this season Douglass is hitting .310 with 19 home runs, 40 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has 31 hits in 100 at-bats and a .415 OBP. |
