Kohara Takes Best Bat Trophy in July Monday, August 1st , 2039 At only 22 years of age, Takamasa Kohara could very well have many more months like this last one during his career. That would be great news for fans of the Fairbanks Grunts, as July was one to remember for the right fielder and he has captured the Alaskan League Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .435 with 12 home runs, 33 RBIs and 20 runs scored. So far this season Kohara is hitting .332 with 20 home runs, 44 RBIs and 42 runs scored. He has 63 hits in 190 at-bats and a .455 OBP. |
