Bad Boy Brawlers Suspended 4 Games Monday, August 1st , 2039 You would have thought you were at a hockey game yesterday at Blue Birds Ballpark. A free-for-all broke out when Jesús Sánchez of Kailua and Rich Davis of Lana'i City rushed one another on the field and had to be restrained by umpires and teammates. Few blows landed, but it was enough for them to be ejected from the game. Today both teams received notification from the league office that the two players would be suspended for 4 games. So far this season, Sánchez has recorded a .200 batting average with 12 hits, no home runs, 4 RBIs, 7 runs scored and a .324 OBP. For the season Davis has made 33 relief appearances, recorded 1 save and compiled a 1-4 won-lost mark and a 27.00 ERA. In pitching 36.2 innings, he has totaled 28 strikeouts and 51 walks. |
