Waikiki Mathematically Eliminated from Playoffs Saturday, September 3rd , 2039 The Waikiki Coconuts will soon be packing their bags and heading home for the year. The 2039 season won't involve a playoff run for the club, as Waikiki was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. Waikiki last appeared in the postseason in 2031. This is their 8th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 27 times in their 32-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Coconuts have made the playoffs 2 times. |
