Pineapples Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Friday, September 9th , 2039 Fans of the Lana'i City Pineapples who thought the club was playoff-bound may have been a little too optimistic this year. The team was officially eliminated from postseason contention today. This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2037. In total, the Pineapples have missed the playoffs 11 times in their 32-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Pineapples have made the playoffs 7 times. Lana'i City has won the Surf and Snow Cup 4 times in their history. |
