Henderson Big Deal in Whitehorse: Hits for Cycle Sunday, September 11th , 2039 Some days everything just falls in place. It all came together for Fletcher Henderson and the Whitehorse Explorers today at Oceans Ballpark. The Explorers went home winners and the first baseman had a 4-for-5 day that included the cycle, a baseball rarity. "He sure was a wrecking ball today," said Whitehorse manager Larry Martin following his club's 14-0 taming of the Wasilla Sledge Dogs. Fletcher Henderson hit an RBI double in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Tomás Francisco in the 6th and tripled in the 9th. In his season totals, Henderson has 24 home runs, .266 BA, .344 OBP, 66 RBIs and 57 runs scored. He has played in 92 games. View Boxscore |
