Playoffs Won't Happen for Avalanche Saturday, September 17th , 2039 The 2039 Surf and Snow Amalgamation season has a ways to go still, but the final weeks won't have playoff implications for the Angoon Avalanche -- they were officially eliminated from postseason contention today. Angoon last appeared in the postseason in 2031. This is their 8th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 23 times in their 32-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Avalanche have missed the playoffs 7 times. |
