Cold Bay Captures Alaskan League Klondike Crown Sunday, September 18th , 2039 There's still a ways to go before the Surf and Snow Amalgamation regular season wraps up, but there won't be any drama in the Alaskan League Klondike. The Cold Bay Eleven have easily clinched the division crown, their 4th as a franchise. "We did what we set out to do, you can't ask for any more than that," said starting pitcher Bill Manley. Team manager John Robertson said it's "been a pleasure" to lead his club thus far this year and he is looking forward to the postseason, where Cold Bay will be looking for its 1st Surf and Snow Amalgamation championship. |
