Ernie Ferris discovered that today at Citizens Ballpark, as he smashed three home runs during the 11-4 Anchorage Mighty Moose win over the Kivalina Bowheads. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the Anchorage shortstop said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Ferris finished the day with 3 hits in 5 at-bats and 6 RBIs.
