Barrow Moves on to Divisional Sunday, October 2nd , 2039 It's a sweet sweep for the Barrow Arctic Blast and they have won the Wild Card. The Fairbanks Grunts were not able to keep pace with the Arctic Blast and dropped the series in short order, losing 4-3 in the deciding game. "This wasn't really the effort we hoped for," said Fairbanks manager Tuo-zhou Yang. It's now on to the Divisional for Barrow after their 3-0 series win. Leading the way for the winners was first baseman Curt Sharp, who was named MVP. For the series, Sharp hit .400 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 3 runs.
