Saturday, November 12th , 2039
It was a glorious year for Tetsuzan Hashimoto of the Ewa Beach Imperialists.

He finished the season with 14 victories and only 4 losses, with an impressive 2.40 ERA. The talented Imperialists pitcher started 22 games and struck out 239 batters in 150 innings and won the Hawaiian League Outstanding Pitcher Award.

"It means a lot," Hashimoto said. "I hadn't really had a chance to sit down and think about it yet. It feels good right now. I can't really put it into words, but I'm sure later on tonight when I have a chance to sit down with my family and think about it, I'll have some words for it. But right now, I'm just happy that it happened this year."

He received 31 first place votes out of a possible 32. Marcos Segura of the Mokule'ia Oceanic finished second in voting, while Cristián Castillo of the Waimalu Nene finished third.
