Alaskan League Names League's Best

Minh-Tong Wang took Surf and Snow Amalgamation by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 21.
For his spectacular campaign, the Kenai Traders star has been named the 2039 Alaskan League Outstanding Hitter Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the first baseman.
On the season he compiled a .309 batting average to go with a .395 on-base percentage. The native of Photharam, Thailand also added 17 doubles, no triples, 46 home runs, 89 RBIs and 79 runs scored.
He received 32 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Jonathan Poskitt of the Dawson City Gunslingers finished second in voting, while Hae-young Han of the Akutan Island Eagles finished third.
