Skipper Valdés Told to Go, Sacked by Terrors Saturday, May 26th , 2035 Most people are upset, frustrated, or depressed upon learning they have been fired. But not Álex Valdés. Today he was fired as the manager of the Hamilton Canada Terrors, but remained cheery and upbeat following the announcement. "Worse things have happened, losing this job isn't going to break me. I'll be just fine, don't worry about me," he said. "I'm sure I'll be able to find a job elsewhere. I'll take some time off to figure things out, and I'll be back." Hamilton Canada general manager Joe Unknown said the decision was the result of a "change in organizational direction." |
