You can't fire the team or fire yourself, so you go to the next thing on the list -- fire the manager. That's exactly what Atletico Castille Sociedad Deportiva Leones GM Joe Unknown did today -- he fired manager Michizane Oya. In the press conference, the Leones GM pulled out all the usual cliches about why change was needed. He also praised Oya in glowing terms and said he would remain a vital part of the Atletico Castille Sociedad Deportiva organization. As far as firings go, this was a harmonious parting. |
