AL Awards Player of the Week Trophy Monday, March 22nd , 2038 Cambridge Light Blues left fielder Alonso Bernal had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the Atlantic League named him Player of the Week. Bernal banged out 11 hits in 27 at-bats on the way to a .407 batting average. He also racked up 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 7 runs scored. Bernal has a .312 average and a .376 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 24 hits, 4 home runs and driven in 12 runs. |
