Skipper Nakamura Terminated by Eruption Wednesday, June 2nd , 2038 Jeju City University is now without a skipper after the announcement of manager Ken Nakamura's firing earlier today. Sources close to the Eruption are saying that Nakamura had lost the confidence of the players and had allowed apathy and selfishness to take over the clubhouse. The Jeju City University front office was unavailable for comment on the matter other than to confirm the manager's firing. A BNN poll done immediately after the announcement went public showed fan reaction seems mixed. "Glad that bum is gone," said one disgruntled fan. Several others were displeased with the decision, telling reporters, "Nakamura did the best he could with the talent and money he had." No timetable has been set by the team for announcing a replacement. |
