3-HR Day for Davidson Thursday, April 21st , 2039 Fans are still buzzing after Keio University whipped the Taiwan Tech University Typhoon by the score of 3-1 today at Typhoon Ballpark. Christopher Davidson smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the left fielder bashed out 3 hits in 4 at-bats, had 3 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, Davidson said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Davidson said. "Three is just... wow." Christopher Davidson hit a solo-shot off Junzo Eida in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Junzo Eida in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Junzo Eida in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. For the season Davidson has produced 32 hits in 173 at-bats for a .185 average with 9 home runs and gotten on base at a .251 clip. |
