Tindale on a Hot Streak, PL Player of the Week Monday, April 25th , 2039 University of Sydney's Kane Tindale would not be denied the Pacific League Player of the Week Award for this past week. His consistent stroke, which produced 10 hits in 24 at-bats and a .417 average, made him the clear favorite to win the honor. "You just go out there and do what you have to do," said Tindale, "When I'm up, I try to focus and block everything else out of my mind and have a good at-bat. I'm up there to get a hit or advance a runner, not to get caught up in the emotion of the moment. I hope I can win this award every week." He also tallied 5 home runs, 13 RBIs, and scored 6 runs. Looking at his stats this year, Tindale has compiled a .281 batting average, while hitting 8 home runs and driving in 25 runs. He has played in 47 games and scored 20 runs. |
