The Math Says - Unicorns Out of Playoffs Monday, April 25th , 2039 It's not quite the championship run that fans in Keio University might have envisioned. The Keio University Unicorns were mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. "There are a lot of good clubs in International Collegiate Baseball Association and unfortunately we couldn't quite make it into that elite group this year," said Unicorns manager Tadakuni Kouki. The Unicorns have missed the playoffs 13 times in their 19 years as a International Collegiate Baseball Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 3rd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2036. In the last 10 seasons, the Unicorns have made the playoffs 5 times. Keio University last won the Round 3 in 2031. |
