Takaki Rips ETH Zurich for 5 Hits Friday, April 29th , 2039 Hamilton Canada shortstop Manabu Takaki had a big day at ETH Accelerator Field today against the ETH Zurich Physicists. The 19-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-8 and led the Terrors to a 7-4 triumph over ETH Zurich. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Takaki said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Manabu Takaki singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 8th, grounded out in the 10th, singled in the 12th, grounded out in the 14th, was hit by a pitch in the 16th, doubled in the 18th and grounded out in the 20th.
