Playoffs Won't Happen for Geckos Saturday, April 30th , 2039 A close finish won't make it any easier for the Aix-Marseille Universite Geckos to end their season early. The club has now been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention for the 2039 season. "There were some things broken and some things said that are not repeatable," Geckos manager Hidetada Hagiwara. This is the club's 9th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2030. In total, the Geckos have missed the playoffs 14 times in their 19-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Geckos have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
