Ciefuegos Won't Make Playoffs Saturday, April 30th , 2039 Ciefuegos Peloteros closer Robinson MartÃnez said it is a "bitter disappointment" for he and his teammates to miss the playoffs. The remarks came hours after the club was mathematically eliminated from 2039 postseason contention. The Peloteros have made the playoffs 6 times in their 19 years as a International Collegiate Baseball Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 9th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2030. In the last 10 seasons, the Peloteros have missed the playoffs 7 times. |
