Engineers Ebeling Sizzles with Cycle Thursday, May 5th , 2039 Fraser Ebeling showed off his speed, his power and his plate discipline today at Oxford Pitch, putting together all facets of his game to hit for the cycle in the Delft win. The 21-year-old first baseman went 4-for-6, collecting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to help the Engineers top the Oxford Dark Blues by a score of 5-4. A jubilant Ebeling told reporters afterward that the experience was "unimaginable." "Seriously, I would have been happy going 1-for-6 with just the double," he said. "So this feels incredible." For the day, Ebeling finished with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored to go with his 4 hits. Fraser Ebeling tripled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Anzai Maruyama in the 7th, flied out in the 9th and doubled in the 12th.
