Dark Blues Win Round 1 Monday, May 9th , 2039 By a score of 3-0, the Oxford Dark Blues have sealed a victory in the Round 1 over the Delft Engineers. "We knew we would be in for a tough series and that's what we got," said shortstop Nicky Desforges of the Dark Blues, who was named the series MVP. "The Engineers knew how to battle and gave us a good test." The next test for Oxford will come in the Round 2, after winning this series 4-2. The Oxford Dark Blues will play against the Sarnia Canada Baysiders in the next round. Sarnia Canada won their series against the Instituto Politecnico Nacional Mules 4 games to 1.
