Curtin University Ace Takes Outstanding Pitcher Award Sunday, June 12th , 2039 Mushanokoji Sakurai joined an elite group of pitchers today by picking up the Pacific League Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2039. The 20-year-old hurler finished the year 6-0 for the Curtin University Cockatoos, piling up 68.1 innings, registering 47 strikeouts and walking 8 on his way to a solid 1.19 ERA. He received 15 first place votes out of a possible 28.
