AL's Top Player, Puente of Instituto Politecnico Nacional Monday, April 9th , 2040 Mario Puente is respected by most Instituto Politecnico Nacional Mules fans for his no-frills style of play. The 19-year-old second baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Atlantic League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .357 average (10-for-28) with 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and 7 runs scored. Presently Puente is batting .278 and has collected 5 home runs, 19 RBIs, .328 OBP and scored 18 runs. |
