Bad Behavior Costs Opie and Sakurai Wednesday, April 11th , 2040 Jack Opie of the Rikkyo University Bishops and Mushanokoji Sakurai of the Curtin University Cockatoos received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 4 and 6 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Field of the Angels. Presently Opie is batting .226 with 30 hits and 4 home runs. He has knocked in 13 runs and scored 7 times. This season Sakurai has a 5-0 mark in 7 starts with a 0.39 ERA. He has given up 25 hits in 45.2 innings, struck out 31 and issued 2 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .158 batting average against him. |
