"There's so much pride in our room and on our roster, anything but a division title wouldn't have been acceptable," said third baseman Masutaro Ishihara. "In the playoffs we'll just have to take it one day at a time and keep battling." The Avocat this year have battled to a 34-17 mark, which is good for the club's 9th Pacific League Tokyo Big6 Division title.
