Waseda Captures Wild Card Sunday, April 29th , 2040 It was no easy task for the Waseda Bear to capture a wild card spot, but the team's players can now breathe easy, knowing they will be a part of the International Collegiate Baseball Association postseason. "They made us work for it. There aren't many easy games in the Pacific League," said reliever Yoshitaka Okuta. "We would have liked to have won our way into the playoffs sooner, but we'll take it." The team's record currently sits at 31-21 and they will be vying for the 1st International Collegiate Baseball Association championship in franchise history. |
