AL Awards Player of the Week Trophy Monday, April 30th , 2040 The Atlantic League has named its Top Player of the Week. The honor went to Armando Martínez, left fielder of the Instituto Politecnico Nacional Mules. In an extraordinary hitting display, he belted out hits at a .364 pace to win the award. Martínez went 8-for-22 for the week, totaled 3 home runs, 5 RBIs and scored 4 times. This season Martínez is batting .222 with 28 RBIs, 23 runs scored and 10 home runs. |
