No Late-Season Magic Coming: Ciefuegos Out of Playoffs Monday, April 30th , 2040 The Ciefuegos Peloteros were mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. Gerardo Díaz of the Peloteros said it's a tough way to finish out the season. "To be eliminated from playoff contention in the last few games, it's not easy," he said. This is the club's 10th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2030. In total, the Peloteros have missed the playoffs 14 times in their 20-year history. |
