Engineers Celebrate Wild Card Win Tuesday, May 1st , 2040 The Delft Engineers have thrilled their fan base by securing a late-season wild card berth. The team's playoff future was certainly not a foregone conclusion, as the Engineers battled to find a place in the postseason. "We never lost faith, I think that's key," said closer Kiril van der Ban. "Even when things got rough, people in our clubhouse believed we were going to win." With their record sitting at 31-23, the Engineers will try to build on their success to win the 2nd International Collegiate Baseball Association championship in team history. |
