Hayagawa Earns April's Top Batter Prize in AC Thursday, May 1st , 2036 Not known for his offensive prowess, Akihiro Hayagawa set the league afire in April and took home the Atlantic Conference Batter of the Month award. The Strathcona HS third baseman posted a steady .398 batting average, 8 home runs, 24 RBIs and 21 runs. This year Hayagawa has collected a .273 batting average to date with 53 hits in 194 at-bats, 37 RBIs, 11 home runs and scored 32 times. He has played in 47 games. |
