League Suspends Nicolas and Lindsay for Fisticuffs Tuesday, April 5th , 2039 If there wasn't a history between Thierry Nicolas of Lycee Fenelon and Josh Lindsay of Hunting Hills HS, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 2 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Nicolas said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." This season Nicolas is batting at a .274 clip with 3 home runs and 14 RBIs. To date this year Lindsay has compiled a 1-0 mark with a 2.25 ERA in 5 starts. |
