Point Grey HS Advances to Round 2 Monday, May 2nd , 2039 The Point Grey HS Hounds are on to the Round 2, having knocked out the Hoorn Schooners 4-2. The final blow came tonight at Ballpark of Vancouver, where Point Grey HS sealed the Round 1 with a 2-1 triumph. Kevin Sandwell was instrumental in the series win and was given MVP honors. Sandwell hit .348 with a .375 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Point Grey HS Hounds will play against the Bowness HS Spartans in the next round. Bowness HS won their series against the Hildegard Saints 4 games to 2. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. View Boxscore |
