Manager Cota Leaves, Dismissed by Kanaashi Nougyou HS Friday, June 3rd , 2039 Kanaashi Nougyou HS has fired manager Richard Cota. "We were not doing the things you've got to do every day," Red Dragons general manager Joe Unknown told reporters. "We saw that things were not going to change. We had huge expectations coming into the season and we did not live up to them." The current coaching staff will be assigned to run the ballclub in the interim until a new manager can be hired. Cota was told of his dismissal yesterday morning and was not available for comment. The Kanaashi Nougyou HS spokesman called it a "sensitive and emotional" meeting with Cota -- and would not discuss whether Cota would be offered another job in the Red Dragons system. |
