Hounds Duff Fires No-Hitter Friday, March 16th , 2040 In a dominant outing, John Duff of the Point Grey HS Hounds totally silenced the bats of the Matanzas HS El Poeta, finishing with a no-hitter. In the Hounds' 1-0 victory, Duff faced only 29 batters, surrendered no hits, had 2 strikeouts and 2 walks. "Honestly, I didn't even know the situation was what it was until the seventh inning," Point Grey HS manager José Díaz said. "I happened to look up there to see how many hits we had gotten, and I happened to notice that they hadn't gotten any." Commenting on the defeat, losing manager Travis Cruz told reporters in the clubhouse that he had a "simple" analysis of the game.
