Flames Held Hitless by Nemoto Monday, March 19th , 2040 In a dominant outing, Ikki Nemoto of the Yeosu HS Porpoises totally silenced the bats of the Ulsan HS Flames, finishing with a no-hitter. In the Porpoises' 4-0 victory, Nemoto faced only 28 batters, surrendered no hits, had 7 strikeouts and 1 walk. "Honestly, I didn't even know the situation was what it was until the seventh inning," Yeosu HS manager Brad Graham said. "I happened to look up there to see how many hits we had gotten, and I happened to notice that they hadn't gotten any." Commenting on the defeat, losing manager Takanori Suzuki told reporters in the clubhouse that he had a "simple" analysis of the game.
